Dr. Energy Saver Delaware helps the future of energy conservation

A local student from Delaware Technical Community College recently stopped by the Dr. Energy Saver Delaware office. Her goal was to speak with the owners about working in the energy conservation field.

The student learned about more than just working in energy conservation. She learned about the benefits of working for a family-run business and what it means to be a part of the Dr. Energy Saver team.

“I was impressed that dedication and teamwork are major themes at Dr. Energy Saver. Overall, talking with [David Lawson] confirmed that I want to continue pursuing a career in energy management.”

The owner of Dr. Energy Saver Delaware, David Lawson, often talks with the students of the local energy management program. He feels it is important to help the upcoming energy managers learn what the field is like from a company that lives it every day.

“I love when the students call and ask about our job. They have great questions. They think it’s great we work with customers’ to improve homes instead of recommending costly replacements that may not be needed.”
