Often times we meet homeowners that want to receive a price for a home improvement service over the phone. They are looking to choose the price that best fits their budget. This is a very logical way to choose a contractor but not the best way. The best way to choose is a contractor that can offer you a solution that will actually address all the issues in your home based on your budget.
When a contractor gives you a quote over the phone, they are not basing it on the home. The quote is based on rough facts and figures. This means they have plenty of wiggle room to charge you more for issues that arise while completing the work. This over the phone quote also does not come with a time frame or guaranteed quality of work.
Our certified inspectors look in every nook and cranny in the home to identify what is making your home uncomfortable. We will check to see if it is a leak due to lack of proper air sealing or a lack of insulation. It could even be that your ducts are not working properly. Once the inspector identifies the issues he will offer a cost effective solution that fits your budget.
Dr. Energy Saver does not charge by the hour – we charge by the project. This means that we will finish the work in the time frame agreed upon.
