This picture encompasses what the production crew first witnessed before their work began. The humidity caused by leaks in the vents caused the insulation to sag as well as create mold growth and wood rot. The results can cause cold floors and high electric bills.
Falling Insulation
Here is another angle of the crawl space that Dr. Energy Saver's production crew has been working on. In this photo, crewmen can really see the insulation sagging from humidity. Vented crawl spaces with dirt floors can reach up to 99% humidity in the summer and 55% humidity in the winter without adaquate installation.
SilverGlo is a GO!
Now the beginning of the many solutions Dr. Energy Saver has to offer are underway! This photo captures the SilverGlo insulation being installed. SilverGlo foam has graphite infused into the foam to increase the R-value by 24% over standard foam.
The final step to the solution
Finally, CleanSpace Encapsulation System with Drainage Matting is permanently installed across the dirt floor and sealed with mechanical fasteners. The results of this easy solution is lower humidiy in the crawl space, warmers floors and lower electric bills.
