Photo Album: Debris Removal in Crawl Space in Worton, MD
Homeowner's in Worton, MD needed their crawl space to be completely cleaned out and updated.
These homeowner's crawl space was vented with a dirt floor which was causing many problems within the home. Cool and warm air pass through the vents in the crawl space which causes condensation and humidity. This allows the fiberglass insulation to sag away from the subfloor making it useless. So much of the fiberglass had fallen from the subfloor that it was impossible to get into the crawl space.
Dr. Energy Saver Delmarva will remove all the debris in the crawl space and insulate it.
The process is called the CleanSpace Encapsulation System. First, the vents are sealed and the walls are spray with spray foam to create a thermal barrier. Next, the drainage matting is installed along the dirt floor. The drainage matting is dimpled to create air space for water to flow. Finally, the CleanSpace liner is applied on top of the drainage matting.
The results are lower humidity, less drafts and lower utility costs.
