Good thing they did. Our technician spotted a water leak coming from the upstairs. Now all the home owner has to do is call their plumber. The problem can be fixed before a major expense occurs.  Lawson Home Services isn't in the business of reporting water leaks - we are in the business of insulating and encapsulating crawlspaces to protect the home in case a leak occurs. But Lawson's goes above and beyond with service. If we spot a problem in your home, even if it has nothing at all to do with what we are there to deal with, our technician will inform you about it.  Thank goodness this was spotted when it was.  If this leak were to continue, undiscovered, it would have rotted out the floor deck, likely beneath the bathtub. And that would have resulted in a very expensive home repair bill, not to mention the unexpected inconvenience. Once this problem was documented the technician informed the homeowner then went on with his normal routine, checking out the crawlspace liner, making sure the dehumidifier is working properly and cleaning its filter, and checking the sump pump for proper operation. All else was found well. We'll see you again next year.
