Cellulose attic insulation
Looks like the builder installed a nice blanket over top this home, 16 inches of what appears to be fiberglass insulation. Cellulose is really preferred for many reasons, but this fiberglass appears to have been installed overtop a properly sealed attic floor.
How Leaky is this home?
Homes should be as airtight as possible, with controlled ventilated to provide adequate fresh air for the occupants to breathe. This home is fairly tight, likely within the Delaware Energy Code.
Insulation failure
The builder failed to properly insulate a section of the wall in this bathroom, as detected by the infrared camera, which can practically see through the drywall to spot areas that are improperly insulated. The blue areas in the photo show areas where energy is escaping through the walls, and along with it, the homeowners utility/energy investment
