Insulating over a Sloped Stairwell Ceiling in Wilmington, Delaware

When a stairwell has a sloped ceiling forming a big triangular space that is open to the attic, it creates a heat loss in the winter and a heat gain in the summer inside of your home. 

Dr. Energy Saver went into this home located in Wilmington, Delaware where the customers had concerns about the amount of money spewing out into their fuel and electric bills. Also making the inside conditions of the home very uncomfortable. As our In Home Comfort Specialist inspect the attic, he found the open area sloped ceiling that was open to the attic. That area had the most impact on the cost home ownership. 

Our production team goes in immediately attacks the issue at hand which is to install our Airtight Structural Cover over the open cavity inside of the attic. After this is installed, we can now blow over the structure and insulate the whole attic properly making this home more comfortable year around and also lowering their fuel and electric bills.
