Cellulose Insulation Installation in Salisbury, MD
In order to install the cellulose insulation in Salisbury, MD home, our installers must create a space to reach the ceiling cavity. This was done by detaching the ceiling from the house frame and propping it up. This does no damage to the home. A long tube is then taken and inserted into the roof to start the installation process.
A Truckload of Cellulose Delivered to Salisbury Home
It takes these two trucks full of cellulose to insulate this Salisbury, MD home! The cellulose comes in bales and needs to be broken up before it is installed. This makes for easy transportation and storage.
Ceiling Needs Insulation!
This image shows the ceiling cavity before we installed the dense-pack cellulose. The cavity is very much empty even though you can see some insulation. The dense-pack method will completely fill this cavity and act as a temperature barrier between the outside air and the inside space of the home.
Preparing to Install the Cellulose Insulation
The bales of cellulose are unwrapped, broken up and placed into this hopper. The machine breaks the cellulose up even more finely, and sends it through the tube. Our high-pressure machine pushes the cellulose through the hose at a high velocity so that we are able to pack as much cellulose into one space as we can, leaving no gaps and full coverage.
