Encapsulation Almost Complete
The crew has now installed the liner, CleanSpace, to keep moisture from entering from the ground into the crawl space. In likeness to a pool liner, CleanSpace is thick and durable not to mention much more aesthetically pleasing than dirt.
A Properly Vented Dryer Exhaust
The crew has sealed the SilverGlo rigid foam board insulation so that no leaks of air can get between the pieces. They have also properly vented and sealed around the dryer exhaust. Hot air and debris from the dryer will never be an issue in this crawl space again.
Air Sealing The Rim Joists
Air sealing the rim joists will keep air from entering into the crawl space through the cracks and crevices between the wood.
Air Sealing Complete
All rim joists and other crevices have been properly sealed so that no unwanted air will leak into this Ocean City, MD crawl space again.
