Homeowner’s want their home to be clean and comfortable in all aspects, but what about the parts of the house they don’t see every day? In a six room home, up to 40 pounds of dust is created every day. The dust is pulled into the HVAC system and re-circulated 5-7 times per day. The ongoing process creates contaminants in the duct work. This can cause allergies, asthma and other respiratory problems. Dirty ducts can also cause the HVAC units to work harder creating higher utility costs.

The registers are taken off to be cleaned. Then, the duct work is cleaned with a 360 circular rotating brush called the Rotobrush. This brush cleans every angle of the duct work thoroughly. The dust and dirt is then collected into a vacuum. Finally, the duct work is treated with an antimicrobial treatment. 

Dirty air ducts for this Kent County home was one of the issues causing the family's allergies. After the duct work was sealed they were cleaned to remove the remaining dust. Now that the ducts are repaired, less outdoor allergens are able to enter the home.
